“I have gotten more mileage from the skills learned through the institute (ACCRI) than any other education I have explored. I am able to apply these skills at home, at both jobs, in school and in the community, and consistently see better results when employing them. Without hesitation, I highly recommend this training for any professional who manages conflict, negotiates, or is any way dependent on their interpersonal abilities.”  John added, “I am pleased to say that I have entered the field of mediation as a profession, and find it superbly rewarding both intrinsically and extrinsically. I hope this finds you and all ACCRI staff happy and healthy.

Following through on an e-mail you had sent earlier to all ACCRI
students, I completed and mailed an application for consideration to
become a USPS REDRESS mediator. I received a letter today from the
USPS informing me that I am invited to their training program in
September. I have e-mailed confirmation that I will attend the
training and see where things progress from there.

I wanted to take a minute and thank you for your time in sending
information on this opportunity to us. Without your commitment the
students and alumni of ACCRI, I would not have this potential
opportunity to work with the USPS.

Respectfully,

Jeremy Olson

I followed up on your email, submitted my application to the Postal Service to become a Mediator for them, and yesterday received the invitation to their training!  This is possible not only because of the email from you, but is a testimony to the training I received from you which allowed me to be able to articulate my qualifications/background in such a way to be accepted.

Thanks to you and ACCRI.

I just wanted to let you know that I applied for the REDRESS Transformative Mediation Job with the United States Post Office that you send out on email. I just received notice that I've been accepted for the 20 hour training.   Thanks for the information I look forward to this opportunity.

I would like to highlight the fact that I received an offer from the United States Postal Service as contract mediator. I have started mediating the US Post Service's cases as of October 1st, 2007 for a period of two years ending on December 31st, 2009. Then, we will move to the next step either with the US Post Office or towards other doors as our God will always provide them. This was made possible because of my response to an announcement sent by email to all ACCRI students by our instructor regarding the mediator contract job with USPS. She made it possible. I just took the opportunity, and I got it.

Thank you for making all these advantages available to all ACCRI students.

Dear ACCRI,

Numerous Students

I have just completed my course with ACCRI and I am thrilled!!! What a well written, well throughout program. I have enjoyed each and every lesson. As you progress through your lessons you are constantly being motivated to succeed and want more for your life. The text books, videos, and materials provided are incredibly informative and well organized. As a Paralegal and a Relationship Coach this information has been invaluable to me. Not only have I learned all the skills that I need as a Mediator but I have learned so many other skills as well, such as valuable negotiation skills that everyone should posses. In addition the mentoring and feedback you receive throughout the course is wonderful! I have spent my life studying and I can tell you that this course is an incredible value for your money. Not only will you receive everything you need, you will get the attention you have always wanted from an instructor with customer service second to none. I highly recommend this course!!!!!!!!

This really gets more fascinating everyday. I am so happy I chose ACCRI to get my certification. It really goes into depth. I can't believe that people actually go to 2 day seminars to get certified. There is no way anyone can take all of this in such a short amount of time. I will appreciate this course for many years to come.

Jane Lehman, 2007 Student

A very well written course.  This certainly isn't some quick course, and wow, you get a diploma and certification.  This is a well-structured course, that will allow you to know the ins and outs of the Mediation business.  I have worked as a tv and radio reporter for years.  I am burned out with the industry, and I firmly believe that this course has given me the knowledge to succeed in this new endeavor. My instructor was a great coach/mentor along the way, and she let you know what you were doing right, and more importantly, what you were doing wrong.  This is what you need to thrive in this or in any business.  Well done!

Mark Anthony Anderson, TV Meteorologist/Reporter May 2007 Graduate

I would really appreciate the opportunity to "toot your horn." As a student it is always so important to receive constructive, honest, and explanatory feedback on assignments and I REALLY appreciate your honest and detailed comments on my efforts. Your attention and feed back is very much a motivator for me and I wanted to just say Thank you!

Christina Glover, Current Student--May 8, 2007

In preparing for my new career in mediation I researched extensively to find the best educational opportunity and ACCRI provided exactly what I needed. Because I could work at my own pace I completed the 6 month program in 16 weeks. It not only prepared me for mediation but also gave me the necessary tools to successfully start my own business. The best part was the one on one attention my teacher Tanya Dominick gave me. She is forthright, fair and honest. I was accepted into the Jefferson County Mediation Services volunteer program for my internship although they were not hiring. The ACCRI credentials I earned were significant in their final decision to accept me into the program. Thank you ACCRI, I am so excited about my future.

Jody OMalley, July 2006 Graduate

I want to take the time to thank you for such a fantastic course of study.  I have learned more about Mediation than I ever really expected from a home study program. After spending more than 17 years as a Union Representative dealing in Labor disputes, I only wish that your course was available years ago, as it would have made my Job as a Union Representative much easier and the process much faster with a happier result.

As a Certified Paralegal in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, I feel that the background and Education I received from ACCRI to gain my Certification as a Professional Business and Family Mediator will work hand in hand.  Tanya, you have put together a program that is second to none, with a Staff (Ms. Knight in particular) that can not be beat.  I have learned so much from you, and your School, that I could never repay you for the great knowledge that you have shared.

I will highly recommend your School to anyone who is interested in the field of Mediation.  Thank you again for such a fantastic learning experience and a great support staff.

Malcolm J. Mitchell, 2006 Graduate

As a professional educator, I appreciate the thought that has gone into the presentation of the material and the feedback that's provided along the way.  This is a great way to enter into the world of mediation--thoughtfully and gracefully!

Thomas A. Stapleford Ed.D., Current Student

Your course seems to be everything you said it would be. I have had friends who are in the legal system check all this out and they gave you a very good rating. This course seems to cover all I will need. I have enjoyed what little I have done so far and I look forward to the rest of the lessons.

Chon Meja graduated from ACCRI in March 2006. She is now the owner of the First Filipino-American Mediation Practice, LLC. This center provides cost effective dispute resolution services for disputants. The goal of this organization is to provide people with the freedom to make their own decisions and help them to save time. We would like take the time to applaud Chon on applying the knowledge received from the American Center for Conflict Resolution Institute. Here are a few words from Chon:

I was born in Cavite Philippines and I am now the mother of three kids. I feel that the key to success is determination and priority in life. My priority is my family and that’s why I have a strong will to learn about ADR/Mediation, because I can work at my own pace. I also believe that you are not just making money but helping others at the same time. There’s a feeling of achievement and affirmative results. I am blissful of what I am doing right now and will continue to learn more about ADR. My office is in my kitchen and I have time with my family and earning money at the same time. Way to go ACCRI!
